Ludlow Food Centre appears on 'Midlands Today'

Midlands Today

Ludlow Food Centre was proud to be visited by BBC Midlands Today on September 1st. The BBC’s Andy Newman came to report on Brits staying in this country to holiday and having what is now affectionately termed a ‘Staycation’.

In the spotlight were Tess Slater, jam and pickle maker, Shirley Jones and her kitchen team, and the butchery team fronted by Andrew Brassington. The feature showed how local businesses have benefitted from people staying in Britain to holiday and focused on Shropshire’s connection to great food.

To complete our hat trick of BBC outings will be an episode of ‘Escape to the Country’ which is due to be aired in October.
