Sausage Week 2012

We made it to the Sausage Week Finals again this year. John and the butchery team were defending last year's 'Best Banger' title but sadly it was not to be. We made the last 8 for which we are very proud and we got to meet Al Murray who was an excellent figure head for the campaign.
John made a smoked sausage this year using our Gloucester Old Spot pork and our own smoker here at the Food Centre. John uses oak chippings from our estate and it gives our smoked meat range a lovely flavour.
