Macmillan Coffee Morning 2011

MacMillan Coffee Morning 2011

Our Conservatory Barn Cafe has been doing its bit to support the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. Richard and his team all dressed up in Macmillan colours for the event wearing green T-shirts and dressed the cafe up a treat. Our customers have very generously donated money to the Macmillan instead of paying for their coffee. This year we have raised the fantastic sum of £371.72.

Tom Hunt, Marketing Manager said,

‘We have been involved in the Macmillan Coffee Morning for years and it’s such a good event. Richard and his team have a done a great job with the cafe and the money is going to a genuinely worthy cause that we all believe needs as much help as it can get’

A spokesperson for Macmillan said,

“We are sure that everyone will want to stop for a coffee break at The Ludlow Food Centre, thanks to their fantastic selection of delicious cakes and baked goods. We are so thrilled that they have decided to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, and raise money for Macmillan.

Around 1,560 people are diagnosed with cancer in Shropshire every year. We need hundreds of thousands of pounds in Shropshire to ensure we can continue to offer our services and support, and The Ludlow Food Centre is helping us achieve this. ”
