Ludlow Food Centre is kicking off its brand new gallery space by hosting local fine artist Hannah de Haan.
The Bromfield-bred artist, who is returning to the county from London to install her exhibition, will have her work on display in Ludlow Food Centre’s gift shop from Thursday, 26th May as part of a new initiative to showcase local artists’ work.
Hannah, now based in Wimbledon, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be the first artist to exhibit my work at Ludlow Food Centre. Having grown up in Bromfield, it’s a particularly special partnership and I hope that customers enjoy my work, which varies from watercolour paintings to fine art sketches, primarily focussing on rural animals and wildlife.”
Charmaine Blatchford, Retail Manager at Ludlow Food Centre, said: “Hannah’s fine art and animal portraiture is stunning, and we’re delighted to have it adorning the walls of Ludlow Food Centre’s gift shop.
“Hannah is the first of many artists we have lined up throughout the year, giving customers a chance to see fresh and exciting work, alongside our expanding range of gift shop products.
“This is a really exciting time for everyone involved.”
Ludlow Food Centre’s upstairs gift shop also hosts an array of local crafts, pottery, books, wrap and kitchenware, and will soon be home to a brand new range of hampers.
